The Ultimate Showdown: A Sneak Peek at Competition Highlights!

11.06.2026

The highly anticipated Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition is set to kick off on June 26 for six days, promising to deliver a multi-dimensional cultural feast for philatelic enthusiasts worldwide.  It will portray the unique charm of "culture in miniature" through its professional and diverse competitive classes by gathering rare and precious stamps from all over the world.

The exhibition offers an extensive competition programme in the following ten exhibition classes, drawing top-tier philatelists from across the globe to compete with their finest collections:

Traditional Philately

Modern Philately

Postal History

Picture Postcards

Postal Stationery

Promotional Class

Thematic Philately

Youth Philately

Revenue

Philatelic Literature

The highly acclaimed "Grand Prix International" and "Grand Prix National" will be awarded to the most representative and outstanding stamp exhibits.

  • ◆ Pinnacle of Artistry: The 21st UPU International Competition Class

Another major highlight of this exhibition is a special parade of over 20 spectacular stamp collections from the postal authorities of various countries and regions. They will be vying for top honors in the 21st International Competition Class for Issuing Postal Authorities of UPU Member Countries and Territories, jointly organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP).

This is a battle of honour among official stamp-issuing authorities, featuring strictly curated, world-class works. It is a rare spectacle you absolutely cannot miss!

  • ◆ Spotlight Deep-Dive: Youth Philately—Passing the Cultural Torch

Notably, among the ten competitive classes mentioned above, the "Youth Philately" category — specially designed for young people aged 10 to 21— carries immense cultural significance. It aims to encourage the younger generation to learn about stamps, fall in love with philately, and try to create their own stamp collections. By passing the torch of this miniature culture, the exhibition injects vibrant youthfulness into the world of philately.
